Fax sending
Sending faxes
You may send faxes directly from the home page, or you can click on the account tab and select the
Send Fax button on the left.
Credits
Once logged in, you may view your credit balance by clicking on the
Credit Overview button on the left.
You may upload credits by calling 0900 0401349 . If you have a XOIP plus number, each time you receive a fax, your credits are increased by one credit per page received.

Enter the fax number
Enter the telephone number you wish to send the fax to.
Uploading PDF files
To send a fax, the document you wish to send must be saved as an Adobe .pdf file. Click the browse button to upload the file you wish to fax.
If your computer can not save files as .pdf, see the fax sending faq for details on downloading a pdf creator.
Press the upload file button to upload your fax to the server.
NB: You need to check that your fax is okay before you send it.
When you upload your fax, XOIP will display the fax on the screen. You need to check that you are happy with the result before you send it. XOIP does not take responsibility for the contents of the encoded fax. For more information see fax sending FAQ.
You will be told the cost of sending the fax. Preview the fax to check that it is okay, and press send to send it.
The sending process
Faxes may take a while to send. Sometimes people’s fax machines are busy, or there are problems receiving the fax. XOIP will try 3 times to send the fax. You will be notified once the fax is sent, or if the fax can not be sent.
Failed faxes
If your fax could not be delivered, you will be charged for one page.
Insufficient credits
If you do not have sufficient credits to send the fax, XOIP will mail you requesting that you upload credits in order to send the fax.
