XOIP numbers

XOIP numbers are telephone numbers for telecommunications services. XOIP numbers are not bound to a specific geographic area; all XOIP numbers start with the 084 or 087 prefix.

Each XOIP subscriber is provisioned a unique XOIP number for his or her use. This number can be used to  receive faxes and  voicemail.

The full XOIP number includes the Netherlands country code (31)

Getting a XOIP number

To sign up for a XOIP number, fill out the subscription form. You will need to enter your name, address, email address, and telephone number. You will then be provisioned your own number. Use of numbers is according to our terms and conditions.

There is no subscription cost or monthly fee for having a XOIP number.

Calling XOIP numbers

A XOIP number is dialled like any other telephone number. Because it is a non-geographic number, the net-code must always be dialled.

A caller would dial 084 1234567 from anywhere in the Netherlands to reach the XOIP number 084 1234567.

If the caller is dialling from outside the Netherlands, he or she would need to dial the Netherlands country code, and drop the leading zero: 31 84 1234567.

When someone calls your XOIP number, they are greeted by your welcome message, and invited to leave a message or send a fax to you. (For fax-only service, a fax tone is sounded).

If you call your XOIP number from your own telephone, you are automatically taken to the menu where you can listen to your messages and administer your settings.
