For example, XOIP can take over your current fax number. This takes around 5-7 business days. It is important that you take an XOIP subscription for at least one year for this acquisition . If you want to port a number from an ISDN2 subscription, XOIP must copy all numbers from this subscription. If this is the case, you are requested to inform XOIP of this.

All XOIP services are available on ported numbers. However, after porting your former number is no longer available. Faxes and voicemail messages are sent to your e-mail. This will save you the costs that your existing telecom provider will charge if, for example, your telephone is diverted.

You can use XOIP as a voicemail and fax service when your numbers are forwarded to XOIP. This option applies to both private and business numbers. When someone calls you, your telecom company forwards this call to your XOIP number. Your telecom company charges costs for this. These are the same  costs that you would pay if you called your XOIP number from your phone. The person calling you pays the regular costs of a call to your telephone. You therefore pay the calling costs to your XOIP number.

You can also use XOIP to replace your mobile operator ‘s voicemail service . An interesting advantage is that, for example, you can listen to the messages that have been left on your mobile phone abroad via e-mail. You do not pay the high roaming costs.

By transferring your number to Skype , XOIP first tries to connect the call. If no connection is established, the call is forwarded to voicemail. If you do not forward your calls, XOIP automatically records voicemail for you.
